Loved it? Continue. Didn't? Free swap.

If the cook clicks with you, pay the monthly plan and they continue daily. Didn't click? We'll send a replacement, free, within 3 days.

Honest answers to honest questions

Who pays for the groceries?
You do. Our fee covers the cook's time and skill — groceries stay in your kitchen, your fridge, your budget. Most families spend ₹3,000–₹5,000/month on groceries for one daily meal slot. The cook works with whatever you provide.
What if I don't like the cook?
Two free replacements come included in every monthly plan, if requested within the first 3 days. Tell us why it isn't clicking — sometimes it's cooking style, sometimes timing, sometimes just chemistry. We'll find someone who fits.
Can I customize the menu?
Yes — entirely. The cook follows your instructions. Write a weekly menu, ask for specific dishes, set spice levels, exclude ingredients (Jain, no onion-garlic, low-oil, etc). Just tell them on day one.
How are the cooks verified?
Government ID check (Aadhaar), a court records check through a third-party vendor, and a personal interview with our team. No cook joins the platform without passing all of these.
What time will the cook visit?
You pick a time window when booking (e.g., "Lunch: arrive between 11 AM and noon"). The same cook keeps that slot every day. If their schedule shifts, we tell you in advance and find a fit.
What about hygiene?
Our cooks are trained on basic kitchen hygiene — handwashing, hair tied back, no cooking while sick. They cook in YOUR kitchen using YOUR utensils, so you see everything firsthand. No hidden commercial kitchen, nothing to guess about.
Can I cancel anytime?
The plan is monthly — once paid, it runs for 30 days. If you need to stop midway, write to support@cookdocook.com and we'll work it out. We're a small team, not a faceless corporation. Reasonable requests get reasonable answers.
